Palpites para Daria Snigur — Mirra Andreeva

Snigur’s Beijing run has changed shape: after coming back from a set down against Kawa and Paolini, she took apart Preston 6-1, 6-0, saving all seven break points. Paolini led in the second set and tie-break before Snigur turned the match; the short latest outing also leaves less immediate workload.

Andreeva has needed time to settle. Yuan took the first set, and Kudermetova made an early push; Andreeva found different answers, but Fernandez recently kept troubling her serve, while against Gauff she grew cautious at the finish. Her comments about missing home are a real late-season strain, not proof of a physical problem.

Snigur +5.5 games is the better price than a routine-margin line allows: a set from Snigur or a close straight-sets loss such as 6-4, 6-3 is enough. Over 19.5 is less forgiving—6-4, 6-3 falls short—and Snigur’s outright price asks for more than this read supports.

The risk is the second serve: Paolini found it vulnerable, and Andreeva returns well. If Andreeva starts cleanly, the score can open up; the angled backhand patterns Snigur has shown will need to create space before Andreeva can take it away.
