Ezequiel Tovar's status is a genuine question after he left Friday with illness, according to The Washington Post. Kyle Karros returned from the concussion list and is a likely starter against a left-hander, but the infield defense and right-handed alignment weaken if Tovar sits.

Cleveland’s seven-pitch lefty offers length the road side lacks

Foster Griffin is listed as Cleveland's starter, according to mlb.com, after settling into a normal turn on August 18. His two starts since a rough Cleveland debut have been cleaner, and his value is not velocity but a deep mix of cutters, sinkers, sweepers, changeups, curveballs and a splitter.
